Exploring Food in Your Backyard! Grow it. Hunt it. Find it.

From September 30 through October 6, 2019, the Vermont Department of Libraries will be teaming up with Rooted in Vermont to promote library programming exploring food found in the backyard – and we invite you to join us!

During this week, Carpenter-Carse Library is happy to welcome Heather Layn of Layn Farms in Monkton. She will share information on successfully raising your own backyard flock of chickens. She might even bring a few special guests!

Heather will be here at 4:30 pm on Tuesday, October 1st. We hope to see you.
