July Adult Programs

Summer's here!  Time to pick out those beach reads, pour some lemonade, and stake out a comfy spot. We have you covered with some great new novels, memoirs, magazines, and 24/7 access to audio books on the fabulous Libby app!    When you want to take a break from reading (or swimming, gardening, biking, working...), come on down to the library for a program or two.  We hope to see you!

 

  Live Music:  Song Farmers of Hinesburg- Thursday, July, 5th, 6 pm. Do you play an acoustic instrument or just love to sing along to old time, blues, country, and folk music?  Come join the Song Farmers during their monthly jam session and participate in this wonderful live music offering.  All ages. 

 

Adult Drop-in Coloring Club- Saturday, July 21st, 1-2:30 pm.  Color your way to calm at our drop-in coloring club for adults. Coloring sheets, art supplies, and tea will be provided.

 

Lyme Disease and Tick-Borne Illnesses: What You Need to Know -Tuesday, July 31st, 6:30 pm.  Join Pat Bannerman, vice-president of VTLyme.org. Her presentation will cover the basics of Lyme Disease, other tick-borne illnesses, prevention strategies, and educational resources. Vermont continues to have one of the highest rates of reported cases of Lyme Disease per capita in the United States.  Education, awareness, and prevention is important for all Vermonters!     Free and open to the public.  Come learn about ways to protect yourself and your loved ones.
